ABOUT HARBOR OF LIGHT
Therapy for the Parts of You That Feel Overwhelmed, Unseen, or Like They Have to Hold It All Together
I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and reconnect with yourself. You don't have to minimize your experiences, explain every part of your identity, or navigate life's challenges on your own.
You May Find Yourself Here If...
You often feel like you're not enough, no matter how hard you try.
You're balancing your own needs alongside family, cultural, or societal expectations.
You're exploring your identity and wondering where you truly belong.
You feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the person you're becoming.
You're carrying shame, self-doubt, or experiences that feel difficult to put into words.
You're exhausted from holding everything together on your own.
If any of this resonates with you, therapy can be a place to feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater compassion and clarity.
Hi, I'm Loni.
I work with teens, college students, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, shame, trauma, identity, relationships, substance use, and neurodivergence. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or exhausted by trying to fit into spaces that weren't built with them in mind.
As a biracial (Black and Mexican), queer, neurodivergent therapist and first-generation college graduate, I understand how identity, culture, and lived experiences can shape the way we move through the world. I especially enjoy working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent clients who are looking for a space where they don't have to explain or minimize who they are.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my long-term partner and our two dogs, and you'll often find me planning my next trip. My hope is that our work together helps you reconnect with yourself with greater compassion, confidence, and authenticity.

The People I Feel Most Honored to Support

Teens and young adults exploring identity and navigating life's transitions
College students managing academic pressure, relationships, and family expectations
BIPOC individuals making sense of culture, belonging, and the many parts of who they are
LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking affirming, identity-centered support
People navigating shame, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges
You deserve a place where you don't have to explain every part of yourself before feeling understood.
You Don’t Have to Carry It All by Yourself.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling things on your own.
At Harbor of Light, I offer an affirming, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome.
